Old-fashioned Navajo people live in hogans, hexagonal log structures. Leo Benally is a Navajo who built his own hogan in a remote area of the reservation. He also made these hogan ornaments. This one depicts a hogan in the summer. A wooden wagon sits beside the hogan. Wagons were used for transportation in the old days. This ornament can hang or stand. It is about three inches wide and one and a half inches tall. (8 cm. x 4 cm.)
