Sean Morningstar is a contemporary Cochiti Pueblo Indian who grows gourds. When they are the size he wants, he harvests them. Then he lets them dry for one year before he paints them. The designs he paints onto the gourds are the traditional designs of the real pottery of Cochiti Pueblo. The resulting ornaments are lightweight, virtually unbreakable, and authentic in their southwest style. If you are decorating a Christmas tree with a southwest theme, these are ideal. They come in several sizes and are quite affordable.
