This magnificent glass ornament is inspired by a famous painting in the San Antonio Museum of Art called Sor Maria Francisca de San Calletano by Felix Zarte in 1840. The young woman, Francisca Leah y Bidrio, was from a well known Jalisco family. She was entering a convent at the age of 20, and her family had the portrait painted to remember her. She wears a Dominican habit. This ornament is a masterpiece on both sides. It is made in Poland and comes in a nice red box.
