Theresa Nez is a very talented Navajo artist. Her “Spice Doll” ornaments are made of cloth with a hand painted face and Navajo hair style. They have a scent of clove and cinnamon, which Theresa sews inside the skirt. Each doll holds little babies, so you might call this a storyteller. These make a perfect ornament to hang on a southwest Christmas tree. They are distinctive, colorful, lightweight, and they are handmade by a talented Navajo who still lives in a remote place on the reservation. They are three and a half inches tall. Designs and number of babies vary.

We have a grandmother and a mother, differentiated by hair color, black or gray. If you would prefer one or the other, please specify in your order.
