Susan Weber made her first angel in 1969 at a YWCA class she had no intention of taking that morning. It was her destiny. As soon as her hands touched the dough, she knew it was her medium. Since then she has made thousands of angels and other figures, and her work in the humble medium of flour, salt and water is in the permanent collection of the Smithsonian. Susan was the only New Mexican accepted in a nationally juried show called “Craft Multiples” in 1975. Her angels are among her favorite ornaments. They measure about three inches in height, and are quite light weight.
