Virginia Chinana is a sweet, elderly pueblo widow at Jemez Pueblo. She makes these small papoose ornaments of native clay, and hand paints them with traditional designs. They are strung to hang on a Christmas tree, and they measure an inch and a half in height. Designs vary.
