Judy Toya is a potter at Jemez Pueblo who makes nativities from native clay she digs from the earth. This nativity has a lovely background wall which sets the scene in a pueblo. The wall has an angel in front of a pottery star. The figures in front of the wall include Mary, Joseph and the Baby, and the three wise men holding pueblo gifts of a basket, a pot, and a drum. A shepherd holding a lamb looks after the two sheep A cow and complete the set. The highest point of the wall is six and a half inches (17 cm.).
