Ranchos de Taos

The old adobe church at Ranchos de Taos has inspired countless artists and photographers, including Georgia O’Keefe and Ansel Adams. It has massive adobe buttresses in front and back. Its dedicated congregation still plasters the exterior walls with mud every year, the best way to preserve an old adobe.
