Mary Garcia is a potter from Acoma Pueblo. These ornaments are slip-cast in the shape of a flattened ball. The hand painted designs are traditional from Acoma pottery. The blue color is not seen on traditional Acoma pottery, but it is an interesting alternative for an ornament. Each ornament is almost three inches in diameter (7 cm.).
