Susan's Christmas Shop
offers a selection of fine, handmade Christmas ornaments and nativities, both southwest and international.
Susan's shop is located under the turquoise portal, one half block east of the plaza on Palace Avenue in historic downtown Santa Fe.
Susan Weber started the tiny shop in 1978, and it has since become a favorite destination for visitors and residents alike.
The creations of many local artists are offered, and new talent is always being discovered and featured.
Susan also offers hand made German specialties, such as wooden pyramids, pewter figures, and mouth blown glass ornaments. At Easter, the shop offers supplies to make Ukrainian Easter eggs, known as Pysanka, as well as hand painted German pewter figures with Easter themes, and fine European decorated eggs.
It is a good place to browse while you wait for a table at The Shed Restaurant, an extremely popular restaurant just across the pleasant Prince Patio.
